Difference between Standard and ID-Quality:

Painting model horses can be very time-consuming and thus very costly, but of course spending a lot of money freely can often be very difficult, too.
All of my paintjobs are offered in Live Show Quality, but certainly there are differences in regards to the level of detail.

Painting a dapple grey for example, by using airbrush acrylics, can create a pleasant paintjob and a model ready to show. However, for sure there are ways to bring life to a model horse in a way that it just looks as realistic as possible (by the help of pastels, brushstrokes and further more). This method requires much more time eventually, of course, and due to the invested time will be way more expensive than the first method.

As I do not want anyone to spend much more money on a model than he/she can afford, I decided to offer two painting qualities, the Standard and the ID-Quality.

So, basically, you may choose whether you would like to spend a lot of money on your custom model horse with the ID-Quality or not.

Modellpferde zu bemalen, kann sehr aufwändig sein und viel Zeit und Mühe kosten. Aber natürlich sitzt das Geld nicht immer locker.

All meine Modelle biete ich immer in Live Show Qualität an, jedoch gibt es auch hier Unterschiede, was den Detailgrad angeht.

Ein Apfelschimmel kann in Airbush gesprüht recht zügig eine gute Figur machen oder aber mit Pastell und feinen Pinselstrichen so realistisch wie möglich wirken. Den Unterschied machen hier nicht nur die Anzahl der Farbschichten, sondern vor allem die investierte Zeit.

Damit ihr nicht gleich für jede Bemalung hunderte von Euros ausgeben müsst, weil die Bemalung 30 Stunden Zeit gefressen hat, biete ich deshalb die Standard Qualität und die ID-Qualität an.

Ihr könnt also wählen, wie viel Geld Ihr für die Bemalung Eures Modells ausgeben wollt oder könnt.

Natürlich gibt es auch Farben, bei denen sich die Investition in ID-Quali nicht wirklich lohnt.

Standardfarben (solid colours) wie zum Beispiel Rappe oder Chestnut ohne Fleckung sehen in Airbush oder Pastell bereits super schön aus. Eine ID-Qualität als Haar für Haar Bemalung kann hier aber auch angeboten werden.

Pricing depends on your model!

To prepp a model horse for hairing can be very difficult and depends on the model's original mane and tail. If I need to cut off the model's mane and also half of its neck, this may take a lot of time compared to a model without a long mane.

The type of mohair also makes a huge difference as a tricoloured mohair can be more expensive or may take more time to create.

Due to these facts additional costs for haired models vary from 40€ up to 80€.

Das Modell bestimmt den Preis!

Wie aufwändig es ist, ein Modell zu hairen, varriert sehr stark. Je nachdem, ob es ein kleines Pony oder ein großes PRE Pferd ist. Ebenso, ob kaum noch Mähne entfernt werden braucht oder ich den ganzen Hals des Modells abfräsen und halb neu modellieren muss, kann es schnell gehen oder extrem aufwändig sein.

Auch ist es wichtig, ob das neue Langhaar unifarben oder tricolour werden soll. Tricolor kostet entweder mehr Zeit und oder das fertige Mohair ist oft teurer.

Der Aufpreis liegt zwischen 40€ und 80€.
Resculpting

Bitte schickt mir Eure genauen Wunschvorschläge, wenn es um Änderungen am Modell geht.

Soll es neues Langhaar aufmodelliert werden? Ein Bein angehoben? Eine ganz neue Haltung? Oder einfach nur die Ohren angelegt bekommen?

Von angelegten Ohren mit 15€ Aufpreis oder bis zu 250€ extra, weil aus einem stehenden Modell ein liegendes werden soll. Das muss ich je nach Modell immer wieder neu entscheiden.
Repair & Care

Your beloved model horse is broken or missing some areas in the paint coat? I gladly repair your model!

Pricing for reparations can differ. A new ear costs about 10 EUR, a repaired leg usually about 25 EUR.

Eurer Lieblingsmodell ist beschädigt oder hat farbmacken? Gerne repariere ich es euch!

Die Reparaturkosten können sehr unterschiedlich sein.

Ein neues Ohr gibt es ab 10€, ein gebrochenes Bein zum Beispiel ab 25€.

Modelle, die ich nicht annehme:

Ich akzeptiere fast alle Sorten von Modellpferden sowie Größen.

Doch leider kann ich keine CollectA Modelle annehmen. Die Beine dieser Modelle sind aufgrund des weichen Gummies beim Bearbeiten häufig "zu weich" geworden. Zudem haben fast alle nach ihrer Fertigstellung mit meinen Farben/Lacken reagiert und sind klebrig geworden.

Ich bedaure diesen Umstand sehr, doch noch habe ich keine hinreichende Lösung für dieses Problem gefunden. : (

Models I do not accept:

I do accept all kinds of model horses and model sizes.

However, I cannot accept CollectA models. I have had so many issues when painting them, because my varnish as well as my paints are not at all compatible with their rubber. Some CollectA horses even loose their stability while painting due to their very soft rubber and almost all of them became sticky after completion.

I am very sorry about this circumstance, but as of now I have not been able to find any solution to this problem. : (
